How to create a website on Tilda

Introduction

 

If you’re looking for a way to make your content easier to publish and share with others, Tilda is the perfect tool for you. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to create a website using Tilda:
Create a new site folder and a new page inside it.

 

Click on the «Sites» button in the top navigation bar, and then click «New Site» from the drop-down menu.

Enter a name for your new site folder and click Next to continue creating it (this will be your website’s root).
Add text to the page.

The next step is to add text to the page. You can do this in three ways:
Use the rich text editor, which allows you to format your text with bold and italic, change its size and color, and more.
Use code to create HTML elements such as paragraphs and headings. This can be helpful if you want to add custom formatting (such as changing fonts) or include links that aren’t available through Tilda’s built-in tools.

Copy/paste from another source like Microsoft Word or Google Docs into Tilda’s rich text editor window
Add images to the page.

 

Now that you have a website, it’s time to add some images! To add an image to the page, click the «Add Image» button in the left sidebar.
You can also drag-and-drop images into Tilda from your computer or the internet by clicking on them and then dragging them over into your browser window. If you want to link an image directly without adding text around it (for example if there’s already text on top), hold down Ctrl while clicking on or dragging into Tilda.
Publish your website.

 

Publishing your website is easy and can be done by clicking the Publish button in the top right corner of your page. You can also publish your website by clicking this same button in the left hand menu.

 

If you want to publish immediately and don’t want to wait for automatic updates, click on «Publish Now».
